2016 Portfolio

The images in this portfolio were created during two separate visits to the Grand Canyon during the Summer of 2015. The first visit was only for two days while the second visit was for one week. A variety of different cameras were used: 35mm full frame, 35mm mirroless and Medium Format Digital.

I spent a lot of time at Grand Canyon from 1995 to 2002 because I sold my work in person, full time at the El Tovar Hotel on the South Rim. However I had not been there since 2008 so this was my first visit to Grand Canyon in quite a few years.

I was pleased to be able to create a nice collection of images from both the North and the South Rim as a result of these two trips. In fact I do not remember being able to create that many images ever in a single trip. My skills must have improved! Either that or not visiting for some time renewed my inspiration and my vision of the Grand Canyon.
